How to Write A Website Review
Getting your website or blog reviewed by a professional internet marketing consultant or SEO specialist should be at the top of the to do list. To me, it is almost as important as that annual checkup from your doctor that I hope you are taking care of as well.
At the StomperNet Live events, website reviews from the StomperNet faculty are very popular. Usually the slots fill up pretty quick. It is quite a value as a top IM consultant may charge upwards to $800 or more. A good website review covers a multitude of aspects of the site, such as, design, user ability, on page and off page optimization, link structure and the list goes on and on.
The nice thing about having a fresh pair of eyeballs looking at your site is that they see things that we may have become not conditioned to see. When you look at your own site daily, it is easy to become oblivious to things that might be quite obvious to the expert. Most website owners find they are leaving money on the table after a comprehensive site review.
So what makes a good site review and what makes a bad one? I would love to share an example from a WordPress consulting friend of mine. She posted earlier this week, an informative post called, A Truly Rotten Web Site Review. Great post Liz and she is my go-to-guru for all of my WordPress questions, problems and solutions!
