Take Action On What You Know Works

I know some really smart marketers. Many of them have studied internet marketing and had online businesses for years. The single factor that 90% of them have in common is not their knowledge, but the time they spend studying their metrics and tracking what is working and what is not working in their marketing plan of action.

I hear a variety of excuses, do any of them sound familiar to you?

Most marketers are concerned about getting traffic to their website. Looking at your metrics, your marketing channels and direct referrers can reveal what traffic sources are converting best.

Concentrating your efforts on higher converting traffic will help to grow and accelerate your business even in a down economy. So don't try to re-invent the wheel, find out traffic sources are already working (converting) and increase your marketing activity there.
