Most of the tasks of making your business run smoothly and ensure continued growth are things which you can do yourself – but there are situations where outsourcing some work makes sense. Every successful internet marketer finds themselves at a point eventually where there are simply not enough hours in the day to take care of each and every aspect of growing their business. You&#039;ll know when you&#039;ve come to this point yourself – while outsourcing can be a great way to ensure that business is taken care of, there are some challenges associated with outsourcing work as well.</p>
<p>One of the biggest challenges involved in outsourcing some of the work of your internet marketing business is that these employees (largely hired on a freelance, per project basis) are generally located somewhere far from where you are. When you have employees working in different cities or even different countries, it can be difficult to work with them; especially when it comes to motivating them to produce the best quality work they can. While there&#039;s no single solution to this, there are a number of different things you can do to keep your outsource employees on top of their game and producing results for your business.</p>
<p>The first of these motivational techniques is something everyone can relate to and is quite simple: money. If you want quality work from talented professionals, you&#039;re going to have to offer enough in the way of compensation to not only make your projects worth their time to do, but also to keep them motivated to do their best. With many of the work you&#039;ll want to outsource, you really do get what you pay for.</p>
<p>Writing work is one of those things. While a lot of other jobs such as graphic design or back end website work can be outsourced to talented employees in the developing world with confidence, writing is something you want to leave to professionals who are native English speakers; one only has to look at any number of internet marketer&#039;s websites or marketing materials to understand this. Awkward usage, spelling errors and grammatical slip-ups undermine your credibility as a business. If you&#039;re not writing your content yourself, you need to pay adequately to attract professionals who make your business look good.</p>
<p>Positive reinforcement is another valuable tool to keep your outsource employees motivated. We all have egos and there is no one who doesn’t like having their hard work appreciated. It really doesn&#039;t take much – a simple email or phone call to let your outsource workers know how much you appreciate what they do for you goes a long way, just as it does in a brick and mortar office where you can physically pat your employees on the back.</p>
<p>Regular communication is perhaps the most important way to keep your outsource workers motivated. All too many internet marketers make the mistake of not staying in contact with their outsource employees. Don&#039;t micromanage or breathe down their virtual necks, but regular communication where you ask how things are progressing and offer constructive, useful feedback helps your employees understand your expectations and stay on track towards getting things done on time and with attention to quality.</p>
